Funeral services for Mrs. Evelene Hill, of Dublin, will be held at 3 PM on Saturday, June 30, 2018, at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road, Dublin. Reverend Winfred L McCloud will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Evelene O’Neal was born on January 8, 1939, in Laurens County, Georgia, to the union of Vera O’Neal and Sam O’Neal. She joined the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church family at an early age. She passed away on June 26, 2018.

She attended Millville School. She did private sitting. Mrs. Hill was a lifelong resident of Laurens County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentice Glen Hill,, by her parents, Vera O’Neal and Sam O’Neal, by her five sisters, and six brothers.

Survivors include her two sisters, Helen Coney, Dublin, and Sammie Jewel Davis of Hayward, California, and one child, Douglas Maddox of Dublin, nieces, nephews, and a host of other caring family members and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 180 Tatnall Lake Road in Dublin.
