Funeral services for Mr. Eugene Rozier, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Nu-Hope Baptist Church, 408 Plummer Street in Dublin. Reverend James R. Travick will officiate. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Mr. Rozier, who departed this life on Saturday, February 8, 2014, was born on December 16, 1941, in Laurens County to the late Ida Coney Rozier and Monroe Rozier.

Mr. Rozier was educated at Millville School, worked at Flexsteel Industries and at The Forstmann Company for many years, and was a member of Nu-Hope Baptist Church where he sang in the male choir. He was united in marriage to Waletha Rozier.

Mr. Rozier was preceded in death by his parents; and by two brothers, Welton Rozier and Daniel Rozier.

Mr. Rozier leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Waletha Rozier; six devoted sons, Quinton Rozier and Stacey Rozier both of Macon, Johnny (Cheryl) O’Neal, Rodney (Alma) O’Neal, and Tony (Dorothy) O’Neal, all of Dublin, and Thurmond O’Neal of Long Beach, California; two devoted daughters, LaRetha (Kenny) Holloway and Priscilla (Edgar) Boston of Dublin; two sisters, Odester Rozier of Dublin,and Eloise Ellington of Miami, Florida; two brothers, Obie (Jean) Rozier of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Willie James Rozier of Dublin; one uncle, Mr. Levi Rozier of Dublin; one aunt, Selina Knight of West Palm Beach, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Hattie White, Connie (Melivn) Boston; one brother-in-law, Charles (Mary) Kinsey,twelve grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1312 Academy Avenue in Dublin.
