Funeral services for Mrs. Ester Bell Watkins, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at 11:30, at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery in Dublin. Minister Lloyd Johnson will deliver the eulogy.

Mrs. Watkins was born on July 9, 1923, in Laurens County. She was born to the late Rufus Victoria Cummings Hawkins. She transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, May 29, 2020.

She lived in Queen, New York until 1970 when she moved back home and opened Bell’s Café. Mrs. Watkins was a member of Millville Baptist Church before later joining the Seventh Day Adventist Church where she was a dedicated member until her health failed. Mrs. Watkins was a member of Eastern Starr Ross Chapter #85.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Salisa Watkins, one son, Ronnie Watkins, a granddaughter, Ulinda Doby and a sister, Lillian Brown.

Mrs. Watkins leaves to cherish her memory one son, Zachary Watkins, one daughter, Frizetta Scott and a dedicated great grandson, William Doby and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren other relatives and friends.
