Funeral Services for Ms. Essie M. Ivery Wright, 81, of Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 12 PM at the Pinehill Christian Church, 2908 Fountain Road, Cadwell. Pastor Belinda Faye Mitchell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pinehill Christian Church Cemetery.

Better known to her family as Auntie, Ms. Wright was born on April 27, 1934, to the late Marcellus C and Mary Wynn Ivery in Dodge County, Georgia. She passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015.

Ms. Wright was an Avon representative for several years. She was also employed at Hillcrest Cleaners, Modern Cleaners, and Shamrock Shirt Factory. She was a member of Pinehill Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Bennie Wright; five sisters, Mary Lee Harris, Vera Mason, Addie Lee Moss, Georgella Thomas and Mildred Washington; and by four brothers, Eudellas Ivery, John Henry Ivery, Lamar Ivery, and Milas Ivery.

Ms. Wright leaves behind two sisters-in-law, Letha Ivery and Mary Ann Ivery; three nephews she raised, Fred (Tonya) Ivery, Leon (Vanessa) Ivery, and Melvin (Martha) Washington; and several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, July 7, 11 AM-12 PM.
