Funeral services for Mrs. Erma Locke Miley of Dublin, Georgia, will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 20, 2019, at the Wabash Church of God at 500 Wabash Street in Dublin. Reverend Reginald May will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Miley was born December 27, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Reverend Freddie M. Locke and Estelle Hall Locke. She was born and raised in Laurens County. She graduated from Washington Street High School.

She was married to the late Jefferson Miley of Fairfax, South Carolina. From this union, three children were born, Lorraine, Janice, and Jeffrey Miley. She was a lifelong member of Wabash Church of God where she served as Secretary of the Choir and Sunday School. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and and as a cashier at May’s Grocery Store. She was called to rest on Friday, April 12, 2019.

Erma is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Her son, Jeffrey Miley, preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughters, Lorraine Miley, Janice Miley Monroe, and several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family is receiving friends at 117 Marcus Street in Dublin.
