Funeral services for Mr. Emmanuel Jamar "Teddy" Jordan, 23, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 2:00 PM at the Word of Life Church, 512 Telfair Street in Dublin. Reverend Michael S. Parker will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Jordan, who passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, was born on October 10, 1990, to Anthony P. Jordan, Sr., and Magnolia Irvin in Detroit, Michigan.

"Teddy" made a great impact on our community. It was here in Dublin that he was introduced to Jesus and later became a zealous member at the Word of Life Church. He would spend countless hours writing music and working on his talent of rap. He attended Dublin City Schools and was later employed at Grumpies and Shoney's Restaurant.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Magnolia Brown and John Brown, Jr., Amize Jordan and Lucy Jordan; and by his aunts and uncles, Priscilla Rozier, Antonio Downing, Lee Allen, Phillip Jordan, Anniemay Jordan, and Mary Jordan.

He will be greatly missed by his father, Anthony P. Jordan, Sr.; his mother, Magnolia (Randall C.) Irvin; his siblings, Michelle Madeleine, Anthony Jordan, Jr., Joshua Jordan, April Jordan, Corteveyas Mitchell, Michelle Mitchell, Markelle Mitchell; grandparents, John Brown, Sr., and Gloria Brown; a devoted friend, Tressia Rozier; aunts and uncles, Detrenell Harris, John Brown II, John Brown III, Gloria Downing, Tomika Downing, Darrius Downing and Melba Brown, Shirley Brown, Eddie Jordan, Robert Jordan, Lervon Jordan, Annyic Jordan, Ulysses Jordan, Bessie Jordan-Morrison, Walter Jordan, Juanita Howard, Emma Jordan and Shelia Ann Sampson; and a host of cousins, friends and 0ther relatives.

The family will receive friends at 1109 West Moore Street in Dublin, and at 263 Weatherstone Drive in Sandersville.
