Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Whipple Rozar, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, June 2, 2016, at the Mount Tilla Baptist Church, 2424 Highway 441 North in Irwinton. Reverend Harold Banks will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Rozar, who passed on May 28, 2016, was born on December 19, 1929, to the late Seaborn and Ollie C. Whipple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil C. Rozar, Sr.; a son, Winston Rozar; grandson, Terrence Wilson; three brothers, Raffield Whipple, Obie Whipple and Lorenzo Whipple; and four sisters, Lizzie London, Cleo Butler, Arlene Knight and Della Hall.

Mrs. Rozar began her walk with Christ at an early age by joining Jordan Stream Baptist Church of Toomsboro and later joining her husband at Mount Tilla Baptist Church, where she faithfully served on the Missionary and Hospitality Ministries and she sang in the senior choir.
She was educated in the Wilkinson County School System. Mrs. Rozar worked in several capacities, including Millville High School, Uniroyal/Allen Bradley, Parkside A&D Clinic and she retired from Dublinair Health Care & Rehabilitation.
Her sweet memories will be cherished forever by her daughter, Laverne Wilson (Andrew); three sons, Morris Rozar (Margerie), Virgil C. Rozar, Jr. (Catherine) and Daryl Rozar (Ann), all of Dublin, Georgia. A brother, Joseph Whipple of Toomsboro; two sisters, Corine Allen of Milledgeville and Doris Scott of St. Petersburg, Florida; two brothers-in-law, Willie Nell Wright (Lillian) of Kathleen, and Lester Guyton of Dublin; two sisters-in-law, Alverlee Breziel of Milledgeville, and Theola Whipple of St. Petersburg, Florida; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 3 great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 1635 Millville Church Road in Dublin.
