Funeral services for Ms. Elizabeth "Cookie" Taylor, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend David Flowers will officiate. Interment will follow in the Harrison Cemetery.

Ms. Taylor, who passed on May 25, 2016, was born on September 25, 1945, to Otis Taylor and the late Leola Taylor. She attended B. D. Perry High School and she attended the United Christian Church in Dublin. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Jean Simmons and Naomi Hilton.

Ms. Taylor is survived by her father, Otis (Jennie Mae) Taylor, Sandersville; two sons, Michael Taylor and Sherwin Taylor of Dublin; daughter, Michelle (Bobby) Taylor; two sisters, Annie Taylor, Milledgeville, Jackie Field, Dublin; four brothers, Jimmy (Doris) Taylor, James Taylor, Gary (Bernestine) Taylor of Dublin, Herbert Taylor, Augusta; a devoted sister-in-law, Darlene Taylor who cared for her until the end; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the home of Ms. Taylor's brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Doris Taylor, at 1039 Bob Sellers Road in Wrightsville, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 31, 7-8 PM.
