Funeral services for Mr. Edward Mitchell, "Bow Legs", of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at 2 PM at the Christ Deliverance Temple Church, 403 East Garner Street in Dublin. Reverend Grady Bell will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Mitchell, who passed on January 28, 2017, was born on January 16, 1964, to Doris Mitchell and the late Joe Louis Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Adele and Willie Mitchell, Idearest and J.C. Dudley, three sisters, Sharon Mitchell, Joann Darrisaw and Dorothy Pitts, one brother, Richard Dudley.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife, Shelly Wiggins Mitchell, his mother, Doris Mitchell, his mother-in-law, Catherine Wiggins, three sons, Terrance Mitchell, Birmingham, Alabama, Malcom Mitchell and Alex Mitchell, Dublin, three daughters, Melissa Mitchell, Atlanta, Erica (Clark) Tolson, Colleen, Texas, Lakeisha Mitchell, Dublin; stepdaughter, Markayla Furr, Columbus, three brothers, Curtis Dudley, Norwich, Connecticut, Nathaniel Mitchell and Sammy Mitchell, Dublin, one sister, Annie (Charles) Mitchell Holliman, Dublin, nine grandchildren, Marquavion Mitchell, Marley Wilson, Traymon Sanford, Kenlee Furr, Maci Mitchell, Malcom Mitchell, Jr., Terrance Mitchell, Jr., Josiah Mitchell, Tytianna Tolson and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 106 Kingsby Street, Dublin, 6-8 PM daily, and on the Friday, 7:30-8:30 PM at the Dudley Funeral Home,
