Funeral services for Mr. Edward Harris, of Dublin, will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at 3 PM in the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Pastor Steve Stevenson will officiate. Interment will follow in Pearson Cemetery.

Mr. Edward Harris was born on September 14, 1926, in Dublin, to the late Elbert Harris and Lizzie Collins. He was a resident of Seattle, Washington, for many years where he worked as a long shoreman and met his best friend, Ola Hall, whom he later married. He passed away on October 21, 2016. He was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Harris.

His survivors are his loving wife, Ola Harris, sisters, Doris (John) Prince of Brooklyn, New York, and Evelyn (Earl) Anderson of Dublin, son, Tyrone Harris, stepdaughter, Shonda (Steve) Stevenson of Yorktown, Virginia, grandchildren, Ashley Harris, Treeston Rozier, Kiana Rozier, Summer Stevenson, and Soaren Stevenson, nephews, Earl Anderson, and Kenneth Anderson, niece, Barbara Pratt, and a host of family and friends including Emory Anderson.

The family will receive friends at 1650 Mayberry Road in Dublin.
