Funeral services for Mr. Edward “Man” Floyd, will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 11 AM at the New Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Lake Wells, Florida. Interment will follow on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 1:30 PM at the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 2130 Georgia Highway 338 in Dexter, Georgia.

Mr. Floyd, who was born on September 14, 1947, worked for Alcoma Packing House in Lake Wells. He passed away on January 28, 2019. He is survived by six children with his first wife, Jerrie Dean Floyd: Tony Floyd, Rhonda Floyd, Randy (Stephie) Floyd, Shawn Floyd, Kendrick (Regina) Floyd and Tarsha Floyd, all of Dublin, and Alisia Floyd of Lake Wales, Florida; and seven step-children from the late Elder Fay Christian Floyd, three children from Selina Strong Floyd; brothers, Samuel (Cookie) Floyd and Odell Anderson of Dublin, and Jim Anderson of Lake Wells, Florida; sisters, Lucille Carr and Lorine Pauldo of Dublin, Sandra Floyd of Atlanta, and Shirone Floyd of Lake Wells, Florida; and a host of other family and friends.
