Clover - Edna Marie Houser, 90, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2017, peacefully at her home.
The funeral will be on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11AM at Beersheba Presbyterian Church with Reverend Allen Biggers officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at the church. Burial will be at Beersheba Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Born and raised in Lincolnton, NC, Marie was the daughter of the late Preston and Julia Bynum. She moved to Clover in 1950 and was a member at Beersheba Presbyterian Church.
Marie is survived by her son, John Preston Houser, three grandchildren (and their spouses), nine great grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Houser, son, Bruce Houser, three brothers, and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society at 1901 Brunswick Ave #100 Charlotte, NC 28207.
