Memorial service for Mr. Earnest Johnson, 76 years old, of Jackson, Mississippi,
who went to be with his Lord, March 21, 2022 at his residence in Jackson, Mississippi, will be
March 26, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Annona, TX with
Rev. T.L. Blevins, eulogist. Interment will be in Annona Cemetery, Annona, TX.
Cremation arranged by Citizens Funeral Home.

Earnest Aaron Johnson was born January 29, 1946 in Readland, Arkansas to Loyd Johnson and Nellie Parker, both preceded him in death. He accepted Christ at an early age. Upon graduation he worked for General Motors Corporation until he retired.

United in Holy Matrimony with Linda Scales, April 1969, to this union there were two children born. Earnest was a devoted and caring person.

We are going to miss beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend.

Earnest slipped into eternal rest on March 21, 2022 and leaves behind an irreplaceable void.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Linda Johnson of Annona,
a son Dwayne Johnson of Louisiana, daughter Aundrea Johnson of Arizona, daughter Tanisha Johnson of Missouri, 9 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one Godson Jeremiah Bernard.
Also, he leaves behind to cherish his memories 12 brothers and sisters: Verna Williams, Antioch CA, Helen Johnson Yeatman, Chicago, IL, Rosie Bell San Antonio, TX, Sheila Johnson Deerfield, FL, Felicia Johnson, Lithonia, GA, Samuel Johnson Oakland, CA, Johnny Johnson Chicago, IL, Elbert Bell Pine Bluff, AR, Thomas Bell Severn, MD, Richard Johnson, Cleveland, OH. A host of other family members and friends.
