Funeral services for Mr. Earl Dwayne Guyton, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at 12 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church, 7814 Shady Grove Church, 781 Shady Grove Church Road in Dublin. Interment will follow in the Shady Grove Church Cemetery. Reverend Willie Edwards will officiate.

Mr. Guyton, who passed on September 8, 2014, was born on September 29, 1948, in Dublin to the late T.B. and Annie Bell Guyton. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Larry and James Guyton and by an uncle, Charlie Gainey.

He joined the United States Army in 1967, and was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he earned several medals. He was a loyal employee of BASF Chemical Company for forty-five years until his retirement. He loved fishing, hunting, and hanging out with his friends at the pool hall. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and loyal friend. Those who knew and loved him will dearly miss him.

Mr. Guyton is survived by his former wife, Essie Guyton of twenty six years, three children, Chris (Amber) Guyton, Anissa (Jerome) Fordham; and Daryl Guyon; a brother, Bruce (Belinda) Guyton; sister-in-law, Josephine Guyton; all of Dublin; two nieces, Valarie Guyton-Culver and Briona Guyton; one nephew, Bruce Guyton, Jr.; four grandchildren, MaKayla, Christophew Dwayne, II; a new addition to the family, Camden; a devoted friend, S.J. Stanley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 702 Magnolia Drive in Dublin.
