E. J. Taylor

Funeral services for Mr. E. J. Taylor, of Atlanta, will be held on Monday, September 11, 2017, at 11 AM at the C. D. Dudley Memorial Chapel at the Dudley Funeral Home. Reverend Kelvin Washington will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Mr. E. J. Taylor was born on February 16, 1955, to the late Mr. Carvin and Ethel Mae Taylor. He was a graduate of West Laurens High School. He relocated to Atlanta where he was employed as a tile setter, as a construction worker, and at Greyhound Bus Lines. Mr. Taylor passed away September 5, 2017. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Mr. Obie Taylor, and Mr. Early J. Taylor, a sister, Ms. Dorothy Ann Taylor, grandparents, Effie and Jimmy Taylor, Lee Morris, and Willie Mae Stanley.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Latoya Taylor (Kendrick) Craft, a son, E'Jarius Taylor, both of Atlanta, three brothers, Jimmy (Bertha) Taylor, Melton (Chris) White of Dublin, Marshall (Iris) Taylor of Atlanta, three sisters, Ella Mae Taylor, Angela Taylor Finney, and Nichole Taylor of Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1229 Marley Cannon Road in Dudley.
