Dr. Sarah Lynn Wilber, 34, passed away at home on Thursday, September 6, 2018 in York, SC.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in York, and a later service will be held on October 6, 2018 at Spring Glen Church in Hamden, CT.
Sarah was a daughter of Lewis Wilber and Susan Perkins Wilber. She was a 2002 graduate of Hamden High in Hamden, CT, 2006 graduate of Merrimack College in Massachusetts, and a 2013 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinarian Medicine. Sarah was a doctor with White Rose Veterinary Clinic in York, SC.
In addition to her parents, Sarah is survived by her twin sister, Lindsey Wilber of Seymour, CT, brother, Tim Wilber (Tracy) and their daughter Brynlee of Windham, NH, and paternal grandparents, Lewis and Toni Wilber of Seymour, CT, and her three dogs, Zante, Otto, and Grace. Sarah was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roger and Elsanne Perkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Furry Angel Fund, c/o White Rose Veterinarian Clinic, York, SC or to Friends of the New Haven Animal Shelter New Haven, CT.
