Mr. Doyle Wooten 61 years old of Clarksville, TX, went to be with his heavenly father, February 10, 2013 in East Texas Medical Center, Clarksville, TX. Funeral service was Saturday, February 16 at 11:00 A.M. at Avery Gymnasium, Avery, Texas with Bishop L.E. Cole pastor and officiating. Interment was in Martin Shiloh Cemetery, Clarksville, Texas.

Doyle Wooten, son of the late Splawn Wooten and Virgie Neta Adam Wooten was born on March 28, 1951, in Clarksville, Texas. He graduated from Avery Independent School District in 1971. Upon graduation from high school he was employed by Avery ISD as custodian and bus driver for over 40 years. Doyle was a lifetime member of Martin Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Clarksville, Texas.

He is survived by his chidren, Felecia Dockins, Tyler, Texas; Dovonna Scales, Arlington, Texas; Devolh Scales (Pam), Honeygrove, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Splawn Wooten and Virgie Neta Adam Wooten, five brothers, Robert Wooten, Willard Wooten, Roy Wooten, Leon Wooten, and David Wooten; Special Friends for twenty-eight years, Hazel Scales Wooten, Clarksville, Texas; two sisters, Verna Wooten and Mae Wooten Scales (Levert) Clarksville, Texas; four brothers, Frank Wooten and Leo Wooten, Clarksville, Texas; Mack Wooten, and Christopher Wooten, Tyler, Texas; six grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, family and friends.
