Funeral services for Mr. Dossie Lee Nelson, aka "Kojack", of Dublin, will held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 12 PM at the Green Grove Baptist Church, 2418 US Highway 441 South. Reverend Doctor Willie Edmond will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Stanley Cemetery.

Mr. Dossie Lee Nelson was born on March 22, 1946, in Laurens County to the late Mr. Adam Nelson, Jr., and Mrs. Eva Della (Rozier) Nelson. He was employed by, and retired from, Bellsouth Telecommunications, later known as Ansco Communications. He was educated in Dublin City Schools. Mr. Nelson passed away on April 15, 2018.

He leaves to cherish memories his sons, Alfonzo Lee Nelson, and Terrence Nelson of Dublin, his daughters, Linda Henderson of Dallas, Texas, Monica Lockett, Jequita Nelson, Brenda (Kenny) Wright, bothof Dublin, a brother, Johnny L. Nelson of Dublin, sisters, Addie Washington, Johanna White of Dublin, Mattie James Williams, and Eula Mae Hamilton of Miami, Florida, grandchildren, Shelonda (William) Stanley Scott, Lashana O'Neal, Jerrod Perry, Ashleigh Holsendorff, Sahara Nelson, Messiah Nelson, all of Dublin, great grandchildren, Trantavious Stanley, Trant Stanley, Treston Balkcom, Ashton Devon, Jeremiah White, all of Dublin, and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and cousins.

The family is receiving friends at 211 Barfield Drive, Dublin.
