Church, Clarksville, TX with Pastor Darel Ricks Sr. eulogist. Interment: Williams Cemetery, Clarksville, TX

Mrs. Dorothy Mathis Coleman was born in Clarksville, Texas to Frank and Lannie Mathis, September 16, 1938. She attended Cheatham High School and later met and married Ossie Coleman, the love of her life in July of 1960. She was affiliated with the St. Paul United Methodist Church and later became a member of the Shawnee Baptist church with her husband, Pastor Ossie Coleman. She was a loyal and faithful member until her health failed her.

Dorothy answered the Master's call and entered into eternal rest on Tuesday April 30, 2019 at the Clarksville Nursing Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Frank and Lannie Mathis; husband: Pastor Ossie Coleman; son, Virgil Love II, brothers: Morris Mathis, Frank Mathis Jr., Willie J. Mathis, Kelly M. Mathis and Connie Mathis; sisters: Emma Simington, Adrienne Taylor and Raylean Mathis.
