Funeral services for Mrs. Doris Mae Coney of Dublin will be held on Saturday, November 9, at 2:30 PM at Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Coney, who passed on November 5, was born on October 4, 1942, in Laurens County to the late Mattie Mae and Jonah Brown. She was preceded in death a brother, Julius Brown and a sister, Louise Moore.

Mrs. Coney is survived by a daughter, Sandra Kaye Coney of Dublin; three granddaughters, Clarissa Coney, Columbia, South Carolina, Natalie Coney and Dawn Coney of Dublin; three great granddaughters, Kamani Ar'lexiz Zaliah Coney, Naviya Ja'Naye Coney, Kaylee Nicole Reese; god-granddaughter, D'Asha "Sunshine" Simmons; nephew, Jimmy Brown; great nephews, Jimmy "Len" (Tracy) Brown and Eric Brown; two great nieces, Teresa Brown, Tomarra (Shawn) Mack; devoted friends, Lillie Lowther, Juanita Jones, Janie Andrews, Elizabeth Kinsey, Willie Mae Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at Apt 322-A Vine Street - Johnson Homes in Dublin and 324-B Johnson Homes in Dublin.
