Funeral services for Mr. Devonta Jerome Johnson, 20, of Dublin will be held on Saturday, October 20, at 3:00 PM at Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 1142 Highway 29 South in East Dublin. Interment will follow in the Williams Chapel Mission Cemetery. Reverend Ryan Wells will officiate. Mr. Johnson who passed on October 15, was born June 25, 1992, in Dublin. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Warren; grandparents, Jerry Wilson, Willie Warren, Mack Gamble; great grandparents, James and Emma Gaston and Andy and Madie Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Lotoya Cheri Johnson; sisters, Tyanna Johnson, Asia Johnson, Briaynne Pringle of Dublin, Kiana Scrutchin, of Marietta; one brother, Marcus Gibbins of Dudley; grandparents, Bobby and Geraldine Williams of East Dublin, Herbert and Loretta Joy Lewis of Eastman, Vincent Forest, Sr. of Dublin, Louise Wilson of Vidalia,; great grandparents, Edna Forest of Dublin and Mary Gambles of Popano Beach, Florida; aunts, Chrissy Forest of Dublin, Latosha (Nelson) Pound of Eastman, Kimbriel Wilson of Mt.Vernon an Jessica Williams of Memphis, Tennesse; uncles, Vincent (Shaquitta) Forest, Jr., Corey (Shakemia) Forest of McCrae, Jerry Wilson of Wareham, Massachusetts and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, friends and special people in his life to include, Reverend James Frank (Bretha) Sherman, Reverend Ryan (Tramika) Wells and godmother, Alice James.
