FUNERAL SERVICE for 39 year old Mr. Desmon Carreathers of Forney, TX formerly of Clarksville Texas who passed away, Saturday, December 14, 2013 in Medical City of Dallas, will be Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Traveler Baptist Church, Clarksville, TX, Rev. S.S. Carreathers officiating. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery, Clarksville, TX. Under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home, 500 E. Church St, Clarksville, TX. On July 12, 1974 in Clarksville, Texas, Lloyd Harold Carreathers and Linda Joyce Carreathers were blessed with a bouncing baby boy, Desmon Ontario Carreathers. He was the only child.
Desmon graduated from Clarksville High School in 1992. He also attended Paris Junior College and moved to Dallas, TX and attended ITT.
In 2006 he moved to Forney, Texas. At an early age he united with Zion Traveler Missionary Baptist Church.
Desmon was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Harold Carreathers and by his mother, Linda (Dotson) Carreathers.
