Funeral services for Mrs. Dena Mae Pryor Cummings, 104, of Washington, DC, will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020, at 12 PM at the Byrd Hill Baptist Church, 2430 Old Hawkinsville Road in Dudley. The family will receive friends from 11 AM until the hour of the service. Reverend Greg Mack will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mount Tilla Baptist Church in Irwinton, Georgia.

Mrs. Cummings was born on September 7, 1915, in Dudley, Georgia, as the daughter of June and Stella Mackey Pryor. She was a homemaker, a mother of five children, and a member of the Central Union Baptist Church of Washington, DC. She transitioned on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, to life eternal.

Survivors include her children, Betty Cummings Mitchell, Connie Cummings, Daniel Cummings and twins, Randolph and Ralph Cummings, and her brother, Robert Pryor of Macon.
