Funeral Announcement - DENNY, Demarcus

Funeral services for Mr. Demarcus Denny, of Atlanta, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 1 PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road, East Dublin. Reverend Paul Denny will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Mr. Denny was born on January 10, 1999, in Orlando, Florida, to Paul and Renita Denny. He attended Evans High School in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Denny was a member of Camp 21 City League Basketball Team, Orlando Magic Junior Camp,Team Trill Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) Basketball Team, Altomonte Springs Raptors Basketball Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) League, and a cross country runner for Maynard Jackson High School. He enjoyed playing X-Box, basketball, shopping and laughing. He accepted Christ on December 12, 2012, under the leadership of Bishop Thomas Lee Jr. and Ebon Temple. Mr. Denny passed away on May 30, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Braxton (Snebo) Martin, Sr.

Mr. Denny leaves to cherish his memory his mother Renita Martin Denny, father Paul (Belinda) Denny, grandmothers, Savannah Wells-Martin, and Dorothy Denny, brothers, Dexter Williams, Samuel Denny, Paul Denny Jr., sister, Veronica Denny, great aunts, Mary Bryant and Lisan Hutchins, aunts, Alma Roberts, Lena Wells, Dianne Martin, Sequilla Martin, Audrey Ferrell, Louise Priscilla Hardeman, Dorothy Turner,Yvonne Gibbs, and Deann Denny, uncles, Ricky Martin, Prince Martin, Sr., (Annette) Marvin Ferrell, Vincent Denny (Ingrid), Ashton Denny (Carline), Lyndon Denny (Denise), Samuel Denny, and Daniel Denny, cousins, Wendell Martin, Tequilla Lavender (Russell, Jr.), Lakeshia Martin, Charah Martin, Jade Kirkland, Candice Gibbs, Gregory Shallo, Vinney Denny, Lyndon Denny Jr., Clifton Denny, Hilton Denny, Ashton Denny, Jr., Anita Denny, Cornelius Denny, Ezekiel Mashall, and Ashleigh Denny, special aunt Karen Ross, (Gregory), special uncle, Braxton "Baby Bro" Martin, Jr., four favorite cousins, Alexandria "Alex" Ferrell, Amber Ferrelll Kiersten Roberts, and Shakanda Wise, best friends, Willie Sneeze, and Malika Wyche, godmothers, Eunice Jenkins and Dorothy Moore, special teachers, Ms. Kim and Ms. Elliot, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, June 16, 2017, 6:30-8:30 PM.
