Deborah Wells

Funeral services for Deborah Denise Kinsey Wells, of Dublin, will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 1:00 PM at the Buckeye Baptist Church, 2176 New Buckeye Road in East Dublin. Reverend David G. Flowers will officiate. Interment will be at the Buckeye Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born as Deborah Denise Kinsey on August 8, 1959, to the union of Betty D. Kinsey and the late Willie James Kinsey of Dublin, Georgia, Mrs. Wells went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.

Mrs. Wells was a faithful member of the Buckeye Baptist Church where she served on many auxiliaries including the Usher Board, Deaconess Board, Sunday School as a Teacher, and the Church Choir.

Mrs. Wells earned her Bachelors of Science degree from Brewton-Parker College and a Master's degree from Ashford University. She worked for over twenty years with the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dublin.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband of thirty-one years, Roy L. Wells of Dublin; three beautiful children, Chorrey Wells of East Dublin, Krystal W. (Omar) Akridge of Atlanta, a and Roy Rashad Wells of Dublin; two grandchildren, Tyler JaQuez Wells of Wrightsville and Myia Shade' Wells of Ashburn; mother, Betty D. Kinsey of Dublin and grandmother, Mary Lee Dennis of Okeechobee, Fl.; sisters: Cheryl (Bobby) Smith of Douglasville, Sabrina (Aaron) Smith of East Dublin, Cassandra (Robert) Hall, Regina (Tracy) Jefferson and Angela Taylor of Dublin, brother; Luther (Regina) Parks of Elizabeth, New Jersey, sisters-in-law: Margie (Freddie) Johnson, Ester Fluker, and Darlene Walker of East Dublin, Gloria (James) Parks and Ethel Walker of Dublin, brothers-in-Law; Clayton (Mareisha) Montford, Remus (Rachel) Walker, Jr., Thomas (Gail) Walker and Eric Walker of East Dublin; a goddaughter, Clarrisa Rolison of Augusta; devoted friends, Willie and Earnestine (Tina) Holmes of Augusta, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

The family will receive friends at 947 Nottingham Drive in Dublin, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, from 7-8 PM.
