FUNERAL SERVICE for 68 year old Mr. David Len Brown of Paris, Texas who went to be with his Lord, July 3, 2021 at Christus Mother Frances Hospital, Tyler, TX will be Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church, 2695 Street, Paris, TX with Rev. D Ray Blanton, eulogist and Rev. Aaron Jenkins, officiating
Viewing will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church, Paris, TX prior to service.

David Len Brown was born on July 20, 1952, to the late L.E. and Elizabeth (Bass) Brown in Lamar County, Texas. He was called home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 03, 2021.
David received his education at Lamar County schools and graduated from Paris High School in 1970. After graduating he went to Gary Job Corp in San Marcos, TX where he received a welding certification.
On December 11, 1971, he was united in holy matrimony to the late Joyce Loraine (White) Brown. To this union one son was born who preceded him in death. No other children were born to this union.
David gave his life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church in Paris, TX. After marrying Loraine, David joined Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where he was active in the choir, Sunday School, Brotherhood and was ordained as a Deacon. After his tenure at Mt. Carmel, David transferred his membership back to his home church Mt. Canaan. While there he continued worshipping and serving the Lord through Sunday School, Brotherhood, Bible Study, singing in the Choir and a Deacon. In his later years at Mt. Canaan, he served as head Deacon and actively participated in the Zion District Association and many other capacities in Zion District. David loved the Lord and dutifully worked for Him in accordance with God’s will and way.
David was a long-time employee at Babcock and Wilcox until his retirement.
He was proceeded in death by his parents L.E. and Elizabeth (Bass) Brown and his wife Joyce Loraine (White) Brown.
He leaves to cherish his memories son Ramone (Shelby) Booker and granddaughters. Savannah Mosley and Remi Booker of Dallas, TX; brothers Raymond Brown of Denton, TX, James Brown, Jimmy (Donna) Brown of Paris, TX and sister Cora (Robert) Edwards of Tyler, TX; . He also leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and close friends.
