Funeral services for Mr. Darick "Debo" Slaughter, of Montrose, will be held on Friday, January 31, 2014, at 2 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 4195 US Highway 80 West in Montrose. Reverend Cedric Cason will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Slaughter who passed on January 24, was born on February 1, 1987 in Laurens County to Earnestine Slaughter and Tommy Lee Aaron. He departed this life on January 24, 2014. He attended Dublin High School. He believed in helping others in any way that he could.

Mr. Slaughter was preceded in death by his mother, Earnestine Slaughter.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his father, Tommy Lee Aaron of Dublin.; two daughters Ava Dixion and Mircale Wilcher, both of Dublin; one son, Aiden Dixion of Dublin; one sister, Stephanie (Darrick) Vickers of Montrose; four brothers, Alvan (Yulanda) Wells , Ronnie (Sonjya) Slaughter, Kevin Slaughter and Maurice Slaughter, all of Dublin; his grandfather, Emanuel Slaughter of Montrose; three uncles and three aunts; one great-aunt and one great-uncle, both of Macon; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 4195 US Highway 80 West in Montrose.
