Funeral services for Ms. Daphine Myricks, of Dublin, will be held at 1 PM on Monday, May 9, 2016, at New Birth Church, 900 Martin Luther King Drive in Dublin. Bishop Edward Pittman, Sr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery.

Ms. Myricks, who passed on May 3, 2016, was born on February 8, 1965, to Juanita Flanders Myricks and the late James Bill Myricks in Dublin. She was preceded in death by a sister, Antionette Myricks.

Ms. Myricks graudated from Dublin High School. She worked at Twin Oaks Recovery Center for several years and worked as a private/ companion sitter also. She joined Driskell Tabernacle Baptist Church at an early age.

She is survived by her mother, Juanita F. Myricks, Dublin; children, Mario Myricks and Alejeto Myricks, Dublin; grandchildren, Dailyn Jordan, Mario Irvin, Trinity Jordon, Amarie Jordan, Caillyn Jordan, Dublin; siblings, Jeffrey Flanders, Theotha (Beverly) Myricks, Phoenix, Arizona, James Myricks, Norcross, Eric (Lois) Stanley, Pamela Denson, Torrey Robinson, Dublin, Jeffrey Seals and James Seals, Baltimore, Maryland; aunts and uncles, Mary Elizabeth James, Mamie Burney, Newt (Annie Lois) Boyer, Dublin; devoted nieces, Shametra Myricks, Dana Williams, Jazmyne; devoted friends, Latisha Jordan, Lakecria Cason, Lavon Charleston and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at 110 West Garner Street in Dublin.
