Curtis Stuckey

Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Stuckey, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 2 PM at William Grove Baptist Church, 104 West Mary Street in Dublin. Reverend Chris Watkins will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at 11 AM at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville.

Mr. Curtis Stuckey was born on May 30, 1957, to the late Lottie Mae and Leonard C. Stuckey. Mr. Stuckey, affectionately known as “Stuck” and “Curt” was a laborer for the city of Fort Valley before his illness. He graduated from West Laurens High School in 1975, and he joined the United States Army in 1977. Mr. Stuckey loved football and basketball. He departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at the Charlie Norwood Veterans Administration Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

Mr. Stuckey leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife of 17 years, Bobbie Stuckey, one daughter, Kimberly Smith, and one grandson, Johnathan O’Neal, all of Dublin, siblings, Ernestine Strange, Dublin, Betty Watkins, Dublin, Patricia (Arthur) Watkins, Fort Valley, Joyce ( ) Brown, Statesboro, Bessie Anderson, Rentz, Beverly (Calvin) Buggs, Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Charles (Christine) Stuckey, Dublin, aunt, Mary Breziel, Macon, in-laws, Evie and Lester Wright, Dublin, brothers and sisters-in-law, Curtis (Brenda) Smith, Angela (Kenneth) Evans, Loganville, James Smith, Elizabeth (Frank) Wright, East Dublin, Darren Taylor, Gloria Younger, Jeffry (Stephanie) Smith, Chicago, Illinois, Rickey (Toby) Gillespie-Mobley, Cleveland, Ohio, and James Smith, Texas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 222 Cascade Circle in Dublin.
