Curtis Stanley

Funeral services for Mr. Curtis Stanley, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, at 2 PM at the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stanley, who passed on July 15, 2015, was born on April 15, 1958, to the late Mr. Homer Lee Stanley and Mrs. Clara O'Neal Stanley. He was a member of Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was a 1977 graduate of West Laurens High School. He served in the United States Army Reserve for six years. He earned an electrician diploma from the Oconee Fall Line Technical School. Mr. Stanley was employed at YKK of Dublin for fifteen years. He was retired from the City of Dublin.

Mr. Stanley is survived by his wife of thirty-six years, Louise "Nikki" Stanley; his children, Curtis Jacques Stanley, Laquisha (April) Smith and Lashekia (Precious) Stanley; daughter-in-law, Leslie Stanley; grandchildren, Jamerious and Lenox Stanley; sisters, Thelma (Robert) Taylor, Angela (Marvin) Anderson; brothers, Edward (Susie) O'Neal, Clifford (Shirley) Stanley, Jeffery (Tracey) Stanley; father-in-law, Perry Coley, Sr.; sisters-in-law, Christine Mitchell, Jr., Julie (Arthur) Hart, Debra Adam, Diane Rozier; brother-in-law, Terry Coley; godchildren, Antwan Parks, Jerome Moss, Cornelius Williams, Quovidous Johnson, Sheldon Rozier; aunts and uncles, Rubye O'Neal Prentice (Mamie) Stanley, Mobbie (Lucindy) Stanley, Robert (Hazel) Stanley and Janie Gainey; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at 120 Green Springs Road in Dublin.
