Funeral services for Mr. Courtney Jason McMiller of Dublin will be held on Wednesday, May 15, at 1 PM at the Rose Hill Baptist Church in Dudley. Reverend Carlos Jones will officiate.

Mr. Courtney Jason McMiller was born May 28,1988, in Laurens County to the union of Mr. James McMiller, Jr. and Mrs. Carolyn Denson McMiller. He departed his life on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He joined Rose Hill Baptist Church at an early age where he sang in the choir. Later he joined Prayer House of Faith. He graduated and cheered for West Laurens High School. He worked at Standard Candy Company, Krystal and Kutco Knife Company.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Willie James and Lena Mae McMiller-Paney; John Denson and Clara Denson; his brother, Etmouse Jesse James McMiller; nephew, Raekwon Jarvez Coady.

Mr. McMiller leaves to cherish his loving memory his father, James McMiller; mother, Carolyn McMiller; brothers, Johnny (Nina) Walker, Jerry (Michelle) McMiller, Willie (Lisa) McMiller, Jeffery (Anna) McMiller, Scott (Bonita) McMiller, Darron (Donna) McMiller, Joseph (Rikita) McMiller, Phillip (Jackie) McMiller, Eric (Shan) McMiller, Richard (Katrina) McMiller, Kendrick (Mary) McMiller; sisters, Carol Russell, Annie McMiller, Daisy (Fredrick) Coady, Brandi McMiller, Elizabeth (Maejour) Higdon and a host of nieces and nephews; dedicated friends- Darryl Gaston, Ciara Dardy, Brittany Mack, Kamila Jordan and Latosha Curry; godparents, Eric & Kay Jones; dedicated great Auntie, Gennie Mae King and a host of aunts and uncles.

The family will receive friends at 620 Vinson Village Extension in Dublin.
