Funeral services for Ms. Cornelia Warthen of Wrightsville will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2013, at 2:30 PM at Pine Grove AME Church, 203 Donovan Road, Wrightsville. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Reverend William Byrd will officiate. Ms. Horne who passed on February 6, was born June 2, 1933 to the late George and Louise Warthen. She joined Pine Grove AME Church at a early age. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Sylvester Warthen, Johnny Warthen, Eddie Warthen and by a sister, Linda Horne. Ms. Horne leaves behind two daughters, Louise Warthern, and Ruby (Stevie) Johnson of Wrightsville; two sisters, Feba Armstrong, Christine Warthen both of Wrightsville; four grandchildren, Tawandia Johnson, Cordele Johnson, Cedric Rawlings and Sharone Rawlings; one great granddaughter, Carmyn Johnson, all of Wrightsville, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
