Claude Reton McNeely, 92, of York, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2017 surrounded by his family.
The funeral service will be 11AM, on Tuesday, January 16, 2017 at Bullock Creek Cowboy Church with Reverend Larry Nunn and Reverend Jarrett McNeely officiating. The burial will be at Norman Grove Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:30PM. The family will receive friends at the church on Tuesday, January 16, 2017 from 10-11AM and other times at Steve and Diane McNeely’s home, 2060 Chester Hwy York, SC 29745 and to David and Yvonne Adams’ home at 5401 Winden Rd. Rock Hill, SC 29732.
Born in Lawndale, NC, Claude was the son of the late Ott McNeely and Evalena Hastings McNeely. Claude was a member of Norman Grove Baptist Church in Lawndale, NC and is a partner with Bullock Creek Cowboy Church in York, SC. He is the founder of McNeely Painting.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda McNeely, sons, Steve McNeely (Dianne), Leonard McNeely (Kelley), daughter, Yvonne “Peanut” M. Adams (David), five sisters, seven grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Claude was preceded in death by his first wife, Novella Helms McNeely.
