Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Jontavious Washington, 27, of Dublin will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2012, at 2:00 PM at the Williams Chapel Baptist Church, 1142 Highway 29 South in East Dublin. Interment will follow in the Williams Chapel Church Cemetery. Reverend James F. Sherman will officiate. Mr. Washington, who departed this life on August 27, was born August 4, 1985, to Cynthia Dudley Dupree (Markeith Mitchell) and Jeffery (Sharon) Washington. He attended Dublin High School where he was very active in football and basketball. He was a member of the Williams Chapel Baptist Church. He worked in the construction field. Christopher was preceded in death by his loving great grandparents, Granger and Lanie Mae Jones, and Nathaniel and Ruby Dudley; and a grandfather, Jimmy Snead. In addition to his parents, Mr. Washington leaves to cherish his memories: a wife, Deondra Washington; his children, Arnautica Washington, Sakerial Washington, Trinity Washington, and Chrishari Washington; maternal grandparents, Katherine (Luther) Dudley, Dublin; and James L. (Lavada) Dudley, Chester; paternal grandparent, Mary Salter, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; siblings include, Rodrickus "Rico" Dudley, Jeffery Washington, Jr., Corey Washington, Lakeisha Cuyler, and Samaya Dupree; aunts and uncles, James (Charlene) Dudley, Jr. Atlanta, Barbara Pittman, Rome, Gregory Dudley, McRae, Rodney Dixon, Dublin, Alfred (Laura) Washington, Newborn, North Carolina, Cynthia Salter, LaPierce Salter and Gary Salter, all of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He also leaves a life long friend, Mr. Xavier Harvard. Friends will be received at the home of his mother, Cynthia Dudley Dupree, 609 A Village Circle and the home of his father, Jeff Washington, 506 East Mary Street, both in Dublin.
