Funeral services for Miss Christine Williams, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 11 AM at the graveside in the Dudley Memorial Cemetery in Dublin. Bishop Otha Stanley will deliver the eulogy.

Miss Williams was born May 30, 1955 in Dublin, Laurens County, Georgia at Claxton Memorial Hospital to Mae Williams and the late Oscar Williams.

She attended Oconee High School. She continued her education at Tonque Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, Oregon where she received her GED and CNA Certification. For a period of time, she lived in Atlanta with her devoted uncle and aunt, Willie B. and Jimmie Roland. She returned to Dublin where she worked at Shamrock Pants Factory and Oshkosh Shirt Factory.

On June 2, 1975 she became a mother to her eldest son, Rodney Williams, and later on June 9, 1978 to John Marvin Bell III. She departed this life on July 9, 2020 in Hazlehurst, Georgia.

Miss Williams was preceded in death by her father, Oscar Williams; brother, Eddie Kemp; and maternal grandparents, Daisy C. Brown and James Pauldo.

She leaves her memories to be cherished by two devoted sons, Rodney (Tangela) Williams of Columbus, John Marvin (Briahnda Walker) Bell III of Dublin; mother, Mae Ollie Williams; stepfather, Robert Kemp; siblings, Gloria Smith and Bobbie Jean Kemp both of Dublin, Freddie (Carey) Kemp of Atlanta, and Ricky (Joyce) Kemp of Monticello; devoted niece, Tammy (Chris) Oliver of Dublin; two grandchildren, Rodney Williams, Jr. and Mariah Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
