Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Brown Mack, of Montrose, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 1 PM at the Macedonia Baptist Church, 4195 US Highway 80 West in Montrose. Reverend Gregory L. Mack will officiate. Interment will follow in the Eason Hill Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Mack was born on July 22, 1943, to the late L. P. and Evelyn Brown. She joined the Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age. She was united in matrimony with Mr. Freddie Mack and joined the Byrd Hill Baptist Church, where she was the choir president, and a deaconess. Mrs. Mack was employed at Laurens Park Mill, P. L. Garment, and Hawkins Cleaners. She passed on September 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Deacon Freddie Mack, her brothers, Louis P. Brown, Jr., Billy Brown, and Ricky Brown, and by a sister-in-law, Ethel Mae Jones..

Mrs. Mack leaves to cherish her memories her devoted children, Evangelist Barbara Brown of Newington, Connecticut, Ethel Mack of Dublin, Reverend Freddie (Carla) Mack, Jr., of Forsyth, Willie (Carol) Mack of Warner Robins, Reverend Greg (Tomarra) Mack of Dudley, and Evangelist Angela Mack of Montrose, and Cynthia Ann Stanley of Dudley, five grandchildren that she raised, Tonica Cason, Brandon (Amelia) Mack, Jabari Walker, Jaryan Mack, and Anaya Mack, siblings, Wylene Washington of Detroit, Michigan, Mary English of Alabama, Lois (Lawrence) Hardie of North Carolina, Reverend James (Shirley) Brown of Montrose, Earnestine (Wilma) Stuckey of Dublin, Marshall Brown of Dublin, Robert (Mary) Brown of Dexter, Katherine Rozier of Montrose, brothers-in-law, Kline Mack, Marshall Mack, Wilburt Mack, sisters-in-law, Larine Holmes, Mattie Bell Lawson, Marylin Smith, sixteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, devoted caregivers, Hope Bryant, Rosa Mae Sanders, and Jackie Stephens, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1673 Railroad Street, Montrose, and at the Dudley Funeral Home on Friday, September 9, 2016, 7-8 PM.
