Funeral services for Mrs. Christine Hudson King, of Dublin, will be held at 12 PM on Monday, January 28, 2019, at the Sandy Ford Baptist Church, 2614 Highway 80 West in Dublin. Reverend Daryl Moore will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Lovett Mission Cemetery.

Mrs. King was born on September 3, 1933, to the late Quincy Lawton and Doretha Brown in Wrightsville. She was a member of Sandy Ford Baptist Church. She loved her church family. Mrs. King was a people person. She retired from Bassett Furniture. Mrs. King was a member of the City Wide Missionary and other local organizations.

Mrs. King departed this life on Thursday, January 24, 2019. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lorene Smith, Dorothy Smith, and by her brothers, James Smith, Johnny Smith, Jr., William Smith and C. J. Hudson.

Mrs. King is survived by her children, Jeffery Lindsey, Reverend Anthony (D'Andrea) King, Ronald (Bertha) Lindsey, Patricia Richardson, James (Joann) Lindsey, Timothy Lindsey all of Dublin, Eddie (Deshawn) Lindsey, Warner Robins; fifteen grandchildren, including two that she raised as her own, Nichole Richardson and Tvarski Richardson, a devoted granddaughter, Quayla Height, sisters-in-law, Suzanne Smith and Ruth Smith, special friends, Margaret Beard, Waletha Rozier, Grace Stanley, Willie Maude James and Jeanette Bostic and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 128 Kingsby Street in Dublin.
