Funeral services for Mr. Charlie Edison Stuckey, of Dublin, will be held on Friday, December 30, 2016, at 11 AM at the Mount Tilla Baptist Church, 2424 Highway 441 North in Irwinton. Reverend Harold Banks will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Stuckey was born on January 3, 1944, in Danville, to the late Sherman and Carrie Stuckey. He departed this life on Monday, December 26, 2016. He was preceded in death by his sister, Johnnie Ruth Stuckey, and brothers, Herman Stuckey and Ronnie Stuckey.

Mr. Stuckey was educated in the Wilkinson County schools and joined the Mount Tilla Baptist Church at an early age. A multi-skilled man, he was a truck driver for many years and worked in construction as well, and eventually retired from Reeves Construction. He had a great passion for gardening and fishing. He enjoyed both until his health prohibited him.

Mr. Stuckey leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Martha Marion Stuckey; sons Charlie Stuckey, Jr., Jeriod Stuckey, and Mitchell Marion; sister, Everlene (Charles) Cephus; brothers, David (Marion) Stuckey and Euless (Annie Rose) Stuckey; sisters-in-law, Ardrich (Ernest) Smith, Geneva Ferrell, Alice Marion, and Juanita (Gary) Perry; brothers-in-law, Wille James (Arnita) Marion, Robert Marion, James Marion, Benjamin (Deveto) Marion; four grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 1685 Millville Church Road in Dublin.
