Charles Turner

Funeral services for Mr. Charles Lewis Turner, of Wrightsville, will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at 2 PM Rock Springs Baptist Church, Rock Springs Road in Wrightsville. Reverend Clifford Hunter will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Sandhill Church Cemetery.

Mr. Turner, who passed on April 13, 2017, was born February 19, 1963, in Wrightsville to the late Charlie Thomas and Eva Mae Reese. He was a 1981 graduate of Johnson County High School. He joined Rock Spring Baptist Church at an early age. He was preceded in death by a brother, Iralee Chico Wright.

Mr. Turner is survived by his loving mother, Eva Mae (Donald) Reese; five sisters, Maggie Thomas, Martha Hicks, Jacqueline Williams, Nannette McClendon all of Wrightsville, Bonita Green, Louisville, Georgia, one brother, Jack Cordy, Fort Pierce, Florida; a host of nieces and nephews, aunt, Bessie Fann, Wrightsville; uncle, Richard (Janice) Turner, Meriden, Connecticut; loyal friend since childhood, Michael Coleman "Tank" and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 223 Weston Lane in Wrightsville.
