Charles Golden Jr.
Chales L. Golden Jr. was the child of charles (Tuffy) and Quava slaton Golden. Charles married Carolyn wheat on April 25, 1961. THey have three children Glynn, Joe and Eden. Charles has Four grandchildren. Brycin, Brooklin, Brandyn, and Gage. Charles served in the uUnited states air force for four years in sermuna Tennessee. After his time in the military Charles owned Golden truck and tire company from 1979 -1994. Charles took an interest in welding and taught himself how to weld both mig and tig. He love to weld aluminum. And had a reputation across many towns including his home town of Quanah that if Charles golden can''t fix it. It can''t be fixed. Charles was a family man and loved his saviour Jesus Crist. He had a very large heart and wouldn''t pass up the opportunity to help someone in need. He loved life and made the most of it. When Charles passed away the funeral was held in the methodist church in Quanah. There wasn''t any available seats. In fact some where standing. Charles always made the joke that only ones who would probably come to his funeral would be Carolyn and kids. The funeral was officiated by Reverend Bud Kidwell. It was a time that allowed all that Charles had done for his fellow man and all the things that he had built. Some very, very funny stories were shared and the songs Daddies hands, Precocious Lord, Amazing Grace and Shall We Gather at the River. Charles was buried in the Quanah cemetery on the 8th st. Charles Golden was a man who is still missed every sngle day. He had a pure heart and when you were around him you were blessed. He made you want to be a better person. Simply speaking he was a loving child, husband, father, grandfather and to many a great loyal friend. R.I.P....
