YORK -- Charles l. Dover, 80, passed away, Sunday, August 09, 2015, at Agape Hospice in Rock Hill, SC.
The funeral will be at 2:00 PM on Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Eastview Baptist Church, burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at Bratton Funeral Home on Monday from 6-7:30 PM
Charles was a son of the late Thomas L. and Fulvia Kiser Dover. He was a member of Eastview Baptist church where he served as a deacon and Sunday School Teacher, In 1953 he intered the United States Army and served 21 years of service as Master Sergant and included 3 tours of duty in Vietnam, Charles retired from Duke Power in 1990. Charles was member of the Philanthropic Masonic Lodge #32 in York, SC., he was avid gardener and loved camping and traveling.
He is survived by the love of his life, Anna Koller Dover, 2 sons,Tom Dover (Deb), Chuck Dover (Sheila Williams), brother, Jerry Dover (Brenda). granddaughter, Ann,(Jon), grandson, Mitch, (Amber), great grandchildren, Jaidon, Emma, Kaison, Carter and Chandler, nephews, Clint, Matt, (Christine), great nieces, Olivia and Natalie.
