Funeral services for Mrs. Charlene McCloud, of Dublin, will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015, at 1 PM at the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church, 3265 Georgia Hwy 19 South, Dublin. Reverend Roger Edwards will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. McCloud, who passed on January 24, 2015, was born on October 1, 1963, to Grace Stanley and the late Lewis Stanley. She is a 1981 graduate of Dublin High School, and continued her education at Mercer University. She was employed by the Carl Vinson Veterans Administration Hospital of Dublin. She joined Howard Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age and later joined the Greater New Friendship Baptist Church. She faithfully served in the mass choir, served as a sunday school teacher, and she worked with the youth of the church.

Mrs. McCloud was preceded in death by relatives, Nicholas McCloud, and Otha Lee and George Eva Stanley.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Derrick McCloud; two sons, Antwuan (Valicia) Gray, Dublin, Joseph Gray, Little Rock, Arkansas; grandson, Khyson Gray, Dublin; mother, Grace Stanley; brothers, Robert (Renay) Johnson, Renwick Stanley, Clarence (Chris) Stanley all of Dublin; sister, Lasheika Stanley, Dublin; aunts, Daisy Kitchens, Atlanta, Helen Howard, Dublin; father and mother-in-law, Mullis and Grace McCloud; brother and sister-in-law, Revered Frederick and Melissa Williams; special friends, Synthia Blocker, Sheila Hines, Bobbie Jean Franklin and Robin West and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends at the family residence, 306 Woods Way in Dublin, and on Friday at the Dudley Funeral Home, 6-7 PM.
