Funeral services for Mr. Cedric Bernard Holloway, of Locust Grove, Georgia, will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017, at 11:00 at the Living Faith Baptist Church, 1333 Bailey Lane in Dublin. Pastor Jamie T. Paulk will deliver the eulogy.
Mr. Cedric Bernard Holloway was born on June 29, 1964, to Lonnie Clifford and Mary Dean Holloway. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Mary Dean Holloway and two brothers, James and Michael Lewis.
Mr. Holloway graduated from Terrell High School in 1982 and shortly after his graduation he attended Albany State College in Albany, Georgia. Mr. Holloway received his bachelors degree from DeVry University in Information Technology and was actively pursuing his doctorate before his health began to decline. He joined the United States Marine Corps where he served until his honorable discharge in 1989. He eventually moved to Dublin, Georgia, in 2008 where he became a member of Saint Peters Baptist Church. While in Dublin he met and married his wife, Ethel Holloway. They both desired to honor God with their life’s work and joined Living Faith Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Jamie Paulk. He faithfully served until his departure from life on July 14, 2017.
Mr. Holloway leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Ethel Holloway; his father and step-mother, Lonnie (Debra) Clifford; one daughter, LaShonna (Terry) Campbell of Albany; two step-children, Marica Jackson of Cochran and Martez Bloodworth of Locust Grove; three sisters, Phyllis Lewis of Leesburg, Sandra Holloway of Columbus, and Michelle Lewis of Indianapolis, Indiana.; one brother, Jeremy Holloway of Jackson, Mississippi; three grandchildren, Tra Lyiah Daniels, John Zavious Clyde and Shi Derrick Clyde; one step-granddaughter, Dalia Parker; three sisters-in-law, Jan (Wendell) Wingo of Atlanta, Evangelist Ann (Anthony) Glasco of Augusta and Min. Eva (James) Beck of Warner Robins; one brother-in-law Minister Alonzo (Dolores) Jackson; two uncles, Don (Joyce) Breedlove and Greg (Pat) Holloway; three aunts, Rosalyn (Richard) Grady, Betty Holloway and Gloria (Chris) Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and a loving church family.
