Cecil Hardin

Cecil Hardin, 86 of Eden passed away January 18, 2015 at a local center. Graveside service will be at Live Oak Cemetery Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 2:00pm with Joe Lopez officiating under the direction of Eden Funeral Home.

Cecil was born October 12, 1928 in Munday, Texas. He attended school in Eden, joined the Navy, attended Texas Lutheran College, lived in Austin, Houston, Galveston, San Antonio, and eventually moved back to Eden. Cecil loved people and made many friends, and liked to help others.

Cecil was preceded in death by his son Bill Hardin, brothers Loyd Hardin, Billy Hardin, and sisters Audra Naumann, Mary Ellen Newman, and Zella Hardin.

He is survived by his wife, Mary of 57 years, daughter Johnnie Sue Hardin, and grand children Shawn Hardin, John Saroz and Teresa Bennett.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Special Thanks to Hospice of San Angelo, especially Crystal Hallmack. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Eden Library, or the Alzheimer's Association.
