Funeral services for Mrs. Cassandra M. Lloyd, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 1 pm at the Springhill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin, Georgia. Pastor Winfred McCloud will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Lloyd was born as Cassandra Miller on August 30, 1962, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late J. D. Miller and Carolyn V. Miller. Mrs. Lloyd lived most of her life in Dublin, she was a nursing assistant for 20 plus years and she worked at Dublinair Nursing Home and Rescare for several years. She passed away on August 28, 2018.

She was preceded in death by an uncle, Freddie Lattimore, an aunt, Ora Lee Lattimore; and by cousins, Eddie “Zink” Lattimore Jr and Brenda Lattimore.

Mrs. Lloyd leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Sammie Lee Lloyd of Danville, Georgia, two devoted children, Rhonda Lloyd of Dublin, Georgia, and Tory (Bridegette) Lloyd of Macon, Georgia, two grandchildren, Elijah Davis and Kierra Lloyd of Dublin, two devoted sisters, Sherry Ann Miller and Cynthia Ashley, both of Dublin, Georgia, three uncles, Eddie (Margaret) Lattimore of Dublin, Georgia; Roger (Mamie) Lattimore and James (Lucille) Lattimore of Augusta, Georgia; one aunt, Bonnie Lattimore of Montrose Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family is receiving friends at 115 Easy Street in Dublin.
