Funeral services for Mrs. Carolyn V. Lattimore Miller, of Dublin, Georgia, will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 494 Evergreen Road in Dublin. Reverend Winfred McCloud will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

She was born on October 3, 1943, in Tennille, Georgia, to the late Mr. Roger Lattimore, Sr., and Mrs. Veola Butler Lattimore.

Mrs. Miller lived a short time in Montrose, but she lived most of her life in Dublin, where she was a long-term and faithful member of the Spring Hill Missionary Baptist Church. She was the owner and operator of Carolyn’s Beauty Salon for 25 years. She also worked briefly at Shamrock Pants Factory and at Dublinair Nursing Home. She departed this life on May 21, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D. Miller; a brother, Fred Lattimore; a nephew, Eddie “Zink” Lattimore Jr.; a niece, Brenda Lattimore, and by a sister-in-law, Ora Lee Lattimore.

Mrs. Miller leaves to cherish her memory two devoted daughters, Cassandra Miller Lloyd and Sherry Ann Miller of Dublin, Georgia; three brothers, Eddie (Margaret) Lattimore of Dublin, Georgia, Roger (Mamie) Lattimore and James (Lucille) Lattimore of Augusta, Georgia; one sister-in-law, Bonnie Lattimore of Montrose, Georgia; two grandchildren, Rhonda Lloyd of Dublin, Georgia, and Tory (Bridgette) Lloyd of Macon, Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Davis and Kierra Lloyd of Dublin, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving friends at Emerald Pointe, 111 Woodlawn Drive, Apartment 5-A, Dublin.
