Carol Jean “Cathy” Mims was born to Wrenzy Sr. and Jessie Mims on September 2, 1946 in the English Community of Clarksville, Texas. Carol accepted Christ at an early age at the Martin Shiloh Baptist Church and later in life united with the St. Paul United Methodist Church and she attended Clarksville Schools. She worked at Baker and Taylor’s Distributions until she made her way to the local Walmart from where she retired upon their closing. She was well known for her beautiful smile, humble spirit, and her quiet demeanor. There was not a day that went by that Kathy did not cherish and leave a humble mark on the ones she encountered. Kathy will be missed by her beautiful sister, Shirley Delois McCulloch and her family that will cherish the many memories left behind. She is joining a precious family reunion in Heaven of her mother and father, and her siblings, Cleo Mims, Wrenzy Mims Jr., Mary Mims Black, Doris Faye Mims, and Johnny Mims, and her long-life companion Julious “Buddy” Black.
