Carlos Martinez 61, AKA (Rocky) entered into rest on Thursday February 24, 2022. In Waco, Texas. Carlos was born in Colorado City, Texas to parents Seferino and Mary Mindetia Martinez. He attended Sterling City Elementary and High School. He worked for over 40 years in the oil fields. He was a truck driver, and heavy machine operator, and also worked on several pipelines. His hobbies were playing music. Self- taught guitar, both bass and lead, keyboards and drums. Music was his passion. He especially loved Tejano and New Mexico style of music. He played for many years in a couple of local bands in San Angelo. He also lived in Sonora Texas for a few years. He loved to travel and loved to eat out in restaurants. He would attend church with his mother Mary Martinez. Carlos was preceded in death by both Paternal and Maternal grandparents. Father Seferino Martinez Mother Mary Mendieta Martinez, brothers Joe Luis Martinez, Hiristio (Eddie) Martinez, and Mike Martinez. Carlos leaves his only surviving brother Roy Martinez of Waco, Texas. Nieces Veronica, Laura, Crystal, and nephew Joe Luis Martinez Jr. Several great nieces and nephews. Former sister-in -laws Sandra Arambula, and Delores Sauseda Martinez to cherish his memory.
