Carey Dmitri Efforts Washington

Funeral services for Mr. Carey LeShun Washington AKA RICKK, 48, of East Dublin will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017
at 11:00 o’clock A. M. in the East Laurens High School Gymnasium, U. S. Hwy 80 East. The Rev. Daryl Moore, Sr.
will officiate and burial will follow in the family plot in Dudley Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Carey LeShun Washington, A.K.A. DMitri RICKK Efforts, was born on November 20, 1968, to the parentage of Carey and Dessie Washington of East Dublin, GA.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rev. Wilson & Inell Washington, Willie & Bertha Wright, and great aunt, Elene "Tank" Plummer. He was a member of the Sandy Ford Baptist Church. He attended East Laurens High School and was a member of the graduating class of 1986. After graduation, he began his employment with Piggly Wiggly in East Dublin. Soon after, he joined the U.S. Army where he received an honorable discharge. He then returned home for re-employment at Piggly Wiggly as grocery/ stock manager until he was hired
with Southeast Paper Mill, now currently WestRock. He maintained employment with this company for 27 years. He was very passionate about his job and always took pride in his work. He lived by the scripture, "A man that doesn't work, doesn't eat." He exemplified his hard work in everything he did. His infectious smile always warmed the hearts of everyone he met. One of RICKK' s most proud moments was that he recently gave his life to Christ to live the Christian life his longed to represent.
LeShun/RICKK leaves to cherish his memories: parents Carey & Dessie "Candy" Washington, sisters Kutina Washington (Javarez Bryant) and Tonya Washington (Michael Adams), niece Lyric Washington, nephews Jayce Bryant and Tink, fiancé, Kaye Plummer, children LaNae and Terrell Plummer, granddaughter Zoe Purnell, godson Brent Burney, mother-in-law Ollie Mae Wright, father-in-law Ralph Wright, devoted friends Gloria Bostic (raised as an older sister), Wesley Ashley, Curtis Smith, James Burney, Eddie Perry, & LaTasha Harrell, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other friends.
Mr. Efforts will be placed in the Gymnasium one hour prior to the services.
Friends are being received at the family residence, 201 Jackson Street, East Dublin, Georgia
