SMYRNA -- Burton Henry Lee Broom, 93, of 920 E. Main Street passed away, Saturday, June 28, 2014, in York.
A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. on Monday June 30 2014, at Smryna Baptist Church Cemetery with, Rev John Irvin officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
Burt was a son of the late Newton and Flora Morgan Broom. He was the widower of Evelyn Torson Broom. Burt work in the commissary in the United States Air Fore and served in the United States Army during WWII.
He is survived by his son, Dennis Broom, a brother, Johnny Broom.
